Our premises, with extensive grounds, are ideal for small weddings, first communions, confirmations or family re-unions. No traffic to drown your conversation while you stroll around the lawns and discover something different around every corner.

A small lake/big pond on the grounds can be fished or navigated across by row boat. This feature is especially interesting for bigger children (who naturally must be supervised)

Free - range chickens provide fresh eggs and the vegetable garden is lovingly cared for. Most of the vegetables used in our kitchen are home grown. In fact all our products are sourced locally when possible.

A small flock of sheep are permanent residents on the property and a beautiful retired racehore with pony companion come running when Neville whistles.

The 103 acre Castle Saunderson Estate on the Cavan Fermanagh border is within walking distance; where the new international scouting headquarters is located and Northern Ireland is just a few minutes’ drive away

You can encounter anything from deer to squirrels and wild ducks while exploring the forest

Off road parking available - wheelchair accessable

Welcome to our website

Belturbet town's main source of revenue is tourism, which includes fishing, boat cruising, the local railway station and country walks.

The town has its own festival, Belturbet Festival Of The Erne which also includes the Lady Of the Erne competition. The festival attracts large crowds for the last week in July and boasts one of the largest fancy dress parties in Ireland. Employment for most of the locals is in Cavan Town, Ballyconnell or other nearby areas.

There are few sources of employment in the town itself, aside from tourism related jobs.

The town has a Farmers Mart every Friday afternoon, where local and fresh produce is sold, and specialities include Cheese, Fish, Breads, Vegetables, etc.

There is a Car Boot Sale at the Railway Station on the last Sunday of every month, commencing around 10.30a.m.

We have 2 Churches: The Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception and the Church of Ireland

Our Town Hall has been completely refurbished and incorporates new State of The Art Library.
